黑料网's Impact: Cambodia Case Study

In Cambodia鈥檚 lush Battambang province, often called the nation鈥檚 rice bowl, 黑料网 has been helping smallholder farmers strengthen their resilience to extreme weather events through the Climate Resilience Rice Commercialization Sector Development Program (Rice-SDP), co-financed by the Asian Development Bank. With new irrigation systems, farmers like Mouen Yanda in Prey Singha village can now grow rice twice a year instead of once, doubling yields and improving food security.

Before, there was no irrigation system. We could only grow rice once a year. But now we have an irrigation system, so we can get water to the paddy on time. With the irrigation system, we grow rice twice a year instead of once a year.
