About the Project

Somalia is at a critical time to intensify efforts toward sustainable investment in the agriculture sector and build the resilience of vulnerable communities. Building the technical, financial, and management capacity of the small-scale farmers and enterprises through climate-smart production practices, access to agro-input and markets, and enhancing critical rural infrastructure, will be key pillars towards building the desired smallholders' resilience and sustainability of investments. This project aims at (i) maintaining and improving the agricultural productive capacity of small-scale producers in the targeted areas and (ii) enabling safe and sustainable food systems and market linkages supported through continued and improved supply chains and market access.
